When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds: Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great, and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and your discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.
~ Patanjali

What we must try to be, of course, is ourselves and wholeheartedly. We must find out what we really are and what we really want.
~ Nelson Boswell

Your work is to discover your work and then with all your heart to give yourself to it.

O.M.G. Yesterday my husband, and three friends drove from Palm Desert

Anza Borrego State Park, on the way in to Borrego Springs

to Borrego Springs to pack up the entire house…

Our Borrego Springs home… moving out and putting it on the market to lease…

Tacos after packing… yummo and good fuel! With our friends from left, hubby David, Rick, Ernie, Jana and me in orange glasses

Off we go for new home in El Centro, CA!!!

A long dust road from Borrego to El Centro, loaded up with furniture and belongings, after a yummy taco meal. The adventure prepping for the next Solar project for my husband.

After about three hours of loading, packing, and preparing for El Centro ride, we set out for the drive to El Centro about 80 miles… peace and desert, then the agricultural area where we tried to guess what crops were growing along the highway.

On the drive home from El Centro after unloading all of our belongings up the elevator to the third floor of his new condo… which we love, by the way… we are a tired and satisfied crew who accomplished a ton today…

Heading home feeling exhausted, satisfied, and grateful for friends who helped us make a major change in our lifestyle in one day!

Do you have friends like this?  I certainly hope so!

A very dramatic sky in this long view down east toward Kitty Hawk, NC on the Outer Banks.  I am often struck at how the cloud cover seems to mimic the ocean as on this particular evening.  Click on the photograph for a large view.  Shot with a Nikon D700 and an 18 mm lens.   Thanks for the look and have a great evening.

Marrakesh is an amazing city and is also a living one.

While London may be for the bankers, Paris for the tourists or Brussels for the diplomats, Marrakesh is for its residents.

Going through the maze of streets in the medina can be confusing but it is a way to know how people live there.

Kind words and deeds will raise your consciousness and enable you to identify with the soul. Let yours be a message of joy and hope, for doing so will open you to the gifts of spirit. By creating an extraordinary life that fits your dreams you clothe your soul with enlightenment and inspiration. Write a new chapter and make the book of your life a story of happiness that celebrates love as a blessing.
~ Micheal Teal

Each human being was given two qualities: power and the gift. Power directs us towards our destiny; the gift obliges us to share with others what is best in us.
~ Paulo Coelho

The thing that is really hard, and really amazing, is giving up on being perfect and beginning the work of becoming yourself.
~ Anna Quindlen

Everything in my life is fundamentally sound; I’m living, I’m loving and I’m OK being who I am. I’m also OK with who we are…
