The Eagles sang, “I got a peaceful easy feeling…”
I have called my style of Tai-Chi Meditation In Motion. I produced two Tai-Chi videos in the 80′s and 90′s and had my own TV show in Athens, Ohio. I have taught from Seattle, to Athens, and in California. I studied in 1972 in Seattle, in San Francisco and Taipei, Taiwan. Never did I feel more peaceful than when I was practicing and teaching Tai-Chi Chuan for over 30 years. Breathing with movement has the power to block those outside worries and allow one to gently face the stresses of life. I continue to use my Tai-Chi breathing today, as a form of meditation… and for that I am truly grateful. The art of Tai-Chi has been practiced for centuries around the world. I cherish my gift. pdd

Following your breath may sound simple and easy, like child’s play. But thanks to our “roving mind”, we are anywhere but here.
Sounds easy, breathe in and out slowly… without thinking about what to wear, if you turned on the dishwasher or get gas yesterday.
Why is the mind programmed to be filled with random thoughts?
Why is focusing on our breath and tuning out the “noise” so difficult?
So easy a child can do it… yeah right!
