Don’t put your happiness on hold by…

10.31.2012

Don’t put your happiness on hold by giving it conditions such as: ‘I’ll be happy when…’ Choose to feel positive now, and enjoy the journey.
~ Mario Cortes

If you realized how powerful your thoughts are, you would never think a negative thought.
~ Peace Pilgrim

And now here is my secret, a very simple secret; it is only with the heart that one can see rightly, what is essential is invisible to the eye.
~ Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Our  heart is more connected to our feelings than to our optics. Two people can see the same thing differently, while a heartfelt emotion is felt pretty much the same by all of us. It’s a God thing…

Every positive change –

10.30.2012

Every positive change – every jump to a higher level of energy and awareness – involves a rite of passage. Each time to ascend to a higher rung on the ladder of personal evolution, we must go through a period of discomfort, of initiation. I have never found an exception.
~ Dan Millman

Life isn’t about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself.
~ George Bernard Shaw

There is a vitality, a life force, an energy that is translated through you; and because there is only one of you in all of time, this expression is unique.
~ Martha Graham

If you are willing to learn from life’s lessons and change a few things, life will get easier. If not, life will kick your little fanny until you become willing or die. I choose life…with its lessons and change. YAH GOD!

The Living Desert in Palm Desert, CA is a place to visit in Southern California.  It has hiking trails for the hikers, a petting zoo for the toddlers, a railroad train for the children, lots of amazing animals living in desert habitat, with tours and guides to educate visitors on the butterfly exhibits, and the various forms of plant-life.  The Giraffes are delightful to watch and a crowd pleaser!  A must see!!!

Travel theme: Spooky

Spooky and captivating at the same time🙂

Rainbow Bakery

We saw this church ruin somewhere in Ireland. It was the day that we began in Dublin and ended up in Dunlavin but didn’t take anywhere near a direct route so it could be anywhere really.

The sky was rather grey and dreary, which I gather is not unusual for Ireland, and I’ve given the image a HDR effect to make it look even more spooky for the theme.

Try not to get freaked out when you visit Ailsa’s page at Where’s My Backpack? for links to other spooky themed posts.
