Thank you Carol Dunnigan, http://blog.caroldunniganphotography.com/ for my third nomination for a Lovely blog award!
And thanks also to J. at http://milkshakesinspring.wordpress.com/2012/09/08/one-lovely-blog-again/ for my second Lovely Blog award… I am doing both of these at once since they came so close together. I feel humbled and honored to be considered and grateful because I love the opportunities to be creative with some very talented role models here.
Award rules require I fill out this info – 7 Random things about me:
2) I started my blog on WordPress 5 and 1/2 weeks ago.
3) Rollerblading was my favorite sport until I fell (barely) six months ago.
4) I recently quit Cafe World (addicted for over a year) to blog
5) I love to dance and have since I was 3 or 4.
6) I retired from our Construction Co. as Project Manager last year.
I love my life and am Happy, Healthy and In Love! (that’s 11 ;D)
Here are 12 blogs that I enjoy following and would like to nominate for this award:
I wish I could copy and paste all 50 of my favorites… you know who you are because I comment on your blogs often!!! I am stalking you lol
Again, many thanks for the nominations…… I can’t believe it.
You’ve made me smile.
Another trick or treat experience for my hubby and me… different year, different costume… same cheeks! If you ever see these cheeks in a costume shop buy them! We have caused more uncontrollable laughter in our friends and family… I will share a few others in my series…
You too will suffer from the sore cheek syndrome. 😀
We lived in our home back in 1994-1997 before we moved to Palm Desert… and have leased it to others since then. It is a three bedroom, two bath and he was living in a one bedroom condo for a few months… now he has a garage to tinker in, and lots of room to roam about.
I go to stay there once a week for a day or two… but we maintain our full time residence in P.D.
We are blessed to have choices.
I miss him being home every night, but we are grateful for the awesome job he has as the QA/QC manager for a 200 acre solar project.
I will go back to Borrego tomorrow to meet with Larry the Cable Guy, just kidding, don’t know his name LOL.
Taking my camera tomorrow so I can take some photos for my challenge.
Missed a day and look forward to getting back on the horse tomorrow.
His RumbleBee on the job site.
You can see the posts that will hold the Solar arrays in a line thru the fence… thousands of them!!! 200 acres worth!
Seven unknown facts about me:
2. My life changed for the better because of the 12 Steps.
3. I was the highest ranking female bodyguard to become certified in the early 1980’s at the Academy, but I chose not to pursue the career because I couldn’t kill anyone to save my client.
4. I am a Filipino/American who is 1/4 Polish :-).
5. In high school I was nominated “Miss Polly Posture” by the school faculty.
6. It was my husband who first coined my life quote of being “Happy, Healthy and In Love.
7. I have only been blogging on WordPress for 4 and 1/2 weeks.
Nominations for a few of the people I admire… and this was tough, but just a start:
“Watch your thoughts, they become words.
Watch your words, they become actions.
Watch your actions, they become habits.
Watch your habits, they become your character.
Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.”
I am not ashamed to admit that my blog has become a habit I enjoy.
It is stirring my creative side, allowing me to make friends with others of like interests, and getting me out of my shell.
I can’t believe I resisted for all these years… glad I am teachable and willing to explore educational and mind expanding past times.
Thank you for your part in making me happy, healthy and in love with my life today.
Hilarious!!! We love to dress up and have the cheeks to prove it!
Since we have been playmates for almost 24 years we have invented new ways to have fun… like I mentioned previously, we play hide and seek with each other.
I have to confess that sometimes I have to hold myself still and stifle my giggles when it takes him longer than usual to find me… and I do have some favorite hiding places but I can’t give them away just yet.
Try it once when your hubby or wife or playmate comes home expecting to find you at the stove, sofa or in bed… but beware if they have heart problems… it can be quite explosive and funny…
You too can post about your “sore cheeks” episode… I would love to hear!
My hubby and I love to dress up every Halloween!
We still play hide and go seek with one another!
Laughing and playing keeps us young and even in our 60’s we love to have fun!!!
Happy, Healthy and In Love… that’s us today, and every day. 😀
Oh, by the way… that’s me on the right and my hero on the left ;D
